Service Projects:
The Bristol Lions Club contributes to many different projects around Bristol including:
- Eye examinations and prescription glasses for those in need
- Hearing aids for the needy
- Community vision screening for all citizens
- Support for the Bristol Lions Low Vision Center in cooperation with Bristol Hospital
- Donation of an ice skating rink through the Bristol Parks and Recreation Department
- Support of the Zion Lutheran Soup Kitchen and the Bristol Corps of The Salvation Army
- Involvement in Bristol's Community Clean-Up Day
- Presenters of the F. Fred Soliani Memorial Scholarship to recognize youth who serve our community
- Donation of large print books and low vision readers to the Bristol Public Library
- Sponsorship of LEO Clubs in several local schools to promote community involvement by Bristol students
- Annual Children's Holiday Parade participation
- Sponsorship of a Little League baseball team
